| Quick q from a friend -- anyone know how a timeshare is treated legally in a divorce? Property, subscription, etc.... It's probably an asset of some kind, right? |

Hmmm that sounds tough. Was it a point-based or deeded timeshare? That could have an effect. I think most commonly they are treated as properties and dealt with in that manner.
Isn't this a question for the lawyer, anyway, not some forum? There might be numerous ways of "treating" a timeshare during a divorce, depending on who wants or does not want ownership of it. |
